Merino kids – Toddler and Baby Sleeping bags
As for baby sleeping bags – well, who would have thought you would need a virtual encyclopaedia in order to make this decision! Before having our baby, we had no clue really what Tog our child might need, nor could we understand why in world we needed multiple sleeping bags to cover seasons when we would be carefully monitoring room temperature in any case. To us, the most important factor was keeping our baby comfortable (i.e. sleeping) and body temperature stable and constant – and especially not overheat. So, while we were trying to make sense of the plethora of options, we came across the Merino Kids Go Go Bags / Sleep Sacks.
Why are these such great baby sleeping bags? First, the merino fabric can ‘breathe’ so this addressed concerns around overheating. We just went with the Standard Weight option, which has been used by our little person right through the year in the US, the UK as well and even summer in New Zealand (only changing from summer PJs to winter when needed).Through all of this time, we have never had her wake due to being too hot, or too cold. This sleeping bag is super lite-weight also, so little legs never seemed to get tangled up or have movement restricted. As a side note, another handy feature is the hole for car seat clips/straps – so if you do manage to stay out past bed time, you can still have your little person in their familiar sleep bag while transporting too!
